Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
We request that all customers check their purchases within 2 days of delivery. Any damages to your items must be reported to your store of purchase immediately where upon a warranty claim will be made. James Lane reserves the right under consumer law to inspect any items as part of warranty claim assessment.
The customer remains responsible for returning the items to our warehouse where it will be inspected.
If in our reasonable opinion, the product has damage due to reasonable wear and tear, misuse, incorrect assembly or failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions, we will not issue a refund or claim.
